1on1 bboy battles "KING OF THE BEAT"

King of the beat is a breakdancing competition where bboys battle it out 1 on 1,winner stays for another round and the looser is eliminated. Until we have the podium winners of 3rd, 2nd and 1st. The winner is crowned king of the beat!!!
The whole reason we are having this competition, is to stimulate the growth and up the level of competitive ...dancing in South Africa by providing a platform for competitive breakdancers to compete on a regular basis. This is also to grow the scene and familiarity of the hip hop culture amongst the community by putting on shows for the public on the first Saturday of every month, at The Penitentiary, an awesome venue with lots of prizes and give a way's sponsored by Black Flys, Heresy,New Balance and Drunken Munky. There are unconfirmed sponsors that aren't mentioned and we are currently looking for more to come on board.
We would love to have you join us for this phenomenal experience and to walk along side us on this awesome journey in Pushing Hip-Hop for what it truly is and take it to a level beyond that of international standards.

The Penitentiary is a fashion retail outlet in Rivonia.
The main theme of The Penitentiary is one where the Landlord is the Warden and the Tenants are Inmates. The Penitentiary comprises of 50 retail Fashion Cells. The Fashion cells can be rented on both a short term or permanent basis. The entire facility comprises of the Fashion Retail cells, Model Agency, Photographic Studio, Catwalk Fashion Ramp, Cocktail Bar aptly named Captivity, V.I.P. Cigar Lounge and Dance Studio. The facility is well suited for all Fashion related traders designers and allied trade such as body and beauty products and services cosmetics accessories etc.
